About the Register of Deeds Office
We have one full time Deputy and two part time Deputies. Our manual tract index dates back to the mid 1800s and has now been digitized. We no longer index in the manual tract books as we started our computerized tract index in January 2000. Our Grantor/Grantee index dates back to December 1986 and we continue to back index by Grantor/Grantee as time permits. COMING SOON. . . real estate documents will be available online back to 1935.
Our County Seat is in the City of Menomonie. We are often confused with Menomonee County or Menomonie, Michigan.
