Preston has been Manitowoc County Register of Deeds since 1989.  Preston is a past state president and served for fourteen years as the state treasurer of the Wisconsin Register of Deeds Association.  Preston is the Manitowoc County Land Information Officer and is a member of the Wisconsin Land Information Association.  Preston is active in his community and his church on various committees.  Preston's wife, Sandi is a grade school teacher and girls athletic coach so he's very interested in girls sports activities.  They're parents of two adult daughters and the proud grandparents of one granddaughter.
