George Jorgensen was elected Waupaca County Register of Deeds and began serving in 1999. Prior to being the Register of Deeds, he was the Waupaca County Clerk of Circuit Courts for 13 years. George is married to Maureen Jorgensen and they have a blended family of four children. George and his wife are very active in Shepherd of the Lakes Church, serving on the council, teaching, mentoring and sponsoring new members. George enjoys restoring antique automobiles, hunting and constructing cabinets. George is referred to as the "tool man" in his neighborhood
