Initially elected in the fall of 2016 for the term beginning January 2017; I am now into my second four year term. Prior to being elected the Register, I was the Chief Deputy for eight years.
My early career was spent with the MN Air National Guard, where I was employed as a civilian in the Security Forces Unit, specializing in Personnel and Information Security.

About the Register of Deeds Office
The office is staffed by myself as the Register and Ms. Kelly Novak who serves as my only deputy. We strive to provide you with the statutorily mandated services in an efficient and courteous manner.
We are a small two person office that handles approximately 4000+ documents submitted for recording annually. We also manage request for all Vital Records events (Birth, Death, & Marriage) which average approximately 1200 yearly.
