About the Register of Deeds Office
The Oconto County Register of Deeds implemented the TriMin computerized land records management system in 2000. Older land records are stored on microfilm or paper. A manual tract index is available for records from 1896 through May 2001. Grantor/Grantee indexes are available from 1876 forward. We have only a general reception index arranged chronologically by grantor (seller) for records before 1876.
