Lisa was elected to begin her term as Register of Deeds in January 2005.

Lisa was a member and Past President of the Wisconsin Register of Deeds Association (WRDA). She serves on various WRDA committees which include Vital Records, New Member and the State Vitals Records Information Systems (SVRIS) Project.

Lisa moved on to take a job with The Department of Health Services as director of Vital Records.
