Donna was appointed by Governor Thompson and took office on February 1, 1988.

Donna worked as a real estate broker and property manager since 1976. She was employed by Bloomer Realty, Chilton for 13 years and owner/manager of Schommer Agency for several years.

She is a graduate of Marion High School, Marion, WI, a graduate of the Realtor Institute and the Wisconsin School of Real Estate.

She was named 1985 Realtor of the Year for the Calumet Board of realtors and was a member of the Wisconsin Realtors Honor Society for 5 years.

She is a member of the Wisconsin Realtors Assn., National Realtors Assn., Calumet Board of Realtors, Republican Party, Advisory member of Fox Valley Tech. Real Estate Dept., Branch officer for the Aid Association for Lutherans, American Field Service (AFS), Professional Business and Professional Womens's Clubs, Inc.

Donna and her husband Marvin, an have 3 children.

Her hobbies include traveling, dancing, reading and working for many charitable organizations.
